To meet the demand of acute shortage of trained and academically enriched, qualified pharmacists in India, we took up the initiative to establish of The College of Pharmaceutical Science, Tamando, Since-1988, This is the only Pharmacy College in Odisha comprising of about 9 acres of land which is situated just adjacent to NH-16 in the capital city of Odisha, Bhubaneswar.

Our Institute is well connected to Rail, Road and Air. About 15KM from Biju Patnaik International Airport, Bhubaneswar. About 10KM from Bhubaneswar and Krurda road railway station. About 5KM from Baramunda Bus Stand, Bhubaneswar.

We have largest Medicinal garden with the statue of Charaka and a Ganesh Temple.

We prepare the students to assume responsibility and provide effective medical care at hospital, community and industry levels. It plays an important role in planning, organizing and coordinating health services.

We are Providing 2 years Diploma and 4 years Degree Course in Pharmacy, which has indeed been a mission accomplished, a dream realized. The institute has assimilated the fact that our students need to be well trained, highly accomplished, enterprising, committed citizens bearing in them the capability of generating the World-class results in pharmaceutical sciences. It is not to say that world class result need world class inputs, towards meeting such challenges, the institution follows a well thought system of educational initiative include professionally formulated & well-designed methodology backed by academically sound & experienced faculty, adequate and sufficient labs & equipment, good ambiance and a pragmatic academic aids. Till then we have to incessantly strive.
